Established in 1987 Ian Mitchell Distribution Limited started life as a distributor of cleaning chemicals and metalworking fluids. In 1991 we decided to manufacturer our own products.
Since then our family firm has grown very steadily gaining a reputation for quality, service and technical back up. From our manufacturing and distribution base in Cumbria we are well placed to service the whole of the UK via our own transport or pallet network.

Having our own lab means that we’re able to check the chemical composition of all of our products, ensuring that we deliver the highest possible standard of product as well as enabling us to confidently say that we abide by all relevant rules and regulations.
We also use it in the creation of our bespoke products, tailor made to fit your needs!

Our wagons are equipped with all the equipment required to pump off, which basically means we’re able transfer chemicals directly to your chosen container.
This means you can have your own tanks on-site, ensuring that the chemicals are being stored correctly, your employees won’t have to handle potentially dangerous chemicals, and you can top up your chemicals as and when you need them without there being half-empty containers strewn about.
This system also means that we don’t have to use bulky individual containers for chemicals, and saves on CO2 emissions, making this option better for the environment in a multitude of ways.
